General Questions
What does CCCP mean? CCCP or Souyz Sovietskich Socialisticheskich Respublic translated means USSR or Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
Section One / Ordering
Is ordering on-line safe at Born In The USSR? Yes, we use a secure server that encrypts your credit card information so no one will see any of your personal information but us. What company do you use to do the transaction? We don't use anyone! We have our own credit card terminal and do not send your information to an outside source. Your information comes directly to us and we personally run your credit card through a stand alone credit card terminal. We don't believe in using credit card software or trusting anyone else with your credit card information.
Section Two / Payment
I do not have a credit card, do you take checks or money orders? No we do not.

Section Three / Shipping
How much is shipping? Our shipping has been simplified: One shipping charge no matter how big or heavy your order is! When you finalize your order you'll be able to choose from the following:

• USPS Mail in the USA $7.95 Any Size Order • USPS Priority Mail in the USA $9.95 Any Size Order • USPS Express Next Day Mail in the USA $24.95 Any Size Order • US Air Mail To Canada or Mexico $10.95 Any Size Order • US Air Mail To All Other Countries $14.95 Any Size Order US Express Mail Service is not available in all areas. Remote area of the USA may get their orders in two days rather than the next day.

Customers are responsible for re-shipping charges if a package is returned because of an incorrect or insufficient address.

USA orders are shipped the next business day. International orders are shipped twice a week.

Section Four / Product Information
Will you mail me a printed catalog? No, we don't have a printed catalog. It wouldn't make sense. Many of our items such as dolls, boxes, and eggs are one of a kind items. We update our page 4 to 5 times a week changing many of these items from "available" to "sold" and adding new items.
Section Five / Returns & Exchanges
What if I want to return or exchange a product? If for whatever reason your not 100% satisfied with your Born In The USSR purchase, return it within 10 days for an exchange or store credit for a future purchase. (We do not credit shipping charges or issue refunds.) T-Shirts that have been washed or worn cannot be returned. All returned/exchanged merchandise must be in original condition. Please ship your parcel back to us prepaid and insured by USPS. PLEASE READ First you must e-mail us! We will issue you a "Return Number." This number must be written on the outside of your return and on the copy of your printed order which must also be sent with your returned item or items. If your return package arrives without a detailed message with your order number, return number, and why it was returned and or what you would like to exchange it for, it will be placed on our "return" shelf where it will sit for a very long time... Thanks!!

Our Privacy Statement, which is also on the bottom of every product page: Your information is safe with Born in the USSR. We do not sell names and addresses for profit or give them away for any other purpose.
Section Seven / Our Store
Can I come in and pick out the items I want? Sorry, but no. We are a home based internet business. We do not have a walk in "retail" store... plus our house is a mess! :)
