This Soviet city was named after a red army commissar from the Bolshevik
Revolution. After the fall of the Soviet Union, the city was
renamed. The name of the new city means "a stick used for stirring."
Name the City as it was during the USSR and also as it's called today.
It is a city of my birth, Bishkek, formerly
Frunze. Commissar Frunze was a huge activist in Central Asia, mainly in Kyrgyz area,
(now Kyrgyzstan) and so, its capital was named after his name not long after the revolution.
We left hints on the photo pages :) Frunze and Bishkek are
mentioned.

This is a monument, located in Baikonur, Kazakhstan - at the place of a
Russian cosmodrome. It is unofficially known by some people as "fisherman"
because the town joke is that this cosmonaut is showing how big of a fish he
has caught in a nearby Syr Darya River. This monument is located right
outside of Krainiy Airport in Baikonur and it greets the visitors when they
enter the town itself.
