Disney characters. These are in good condition. There is a
place for a child's name inside the book and some of the copies we

Interestingly, Disney discontinued the "Soviet Union" Book
and republished it with "Russia" on it in 1992 after the
fall of the USSR. We have both versions available, however the
Soviet version is a very rare find!!!

A Day in the Life of the SOVIET UNION
These are large "coffee table books", measuring 10-1/2" x 14-1/2" and weighing over 5 pounds.
These books were previously owned and are in good condition. Some may
have names or writing inside the cover. In 1987 50 western photojournalists were given the opportunity to join 50 of their Russian comrades in a project to photograph the the entire Soviet Union within 24 hours. They traveled to all 15 Soviet Republics and across 11 time zones. They were given unprecedented access to homes, factories, schools and even prisons. On 15th May 1987 while the Soviet people celebrated the 70th Anniversary of the Great October Revolution, 127,000 photos were taken. This book contains the best of them.
